what is ppc?

My mother, aka BaNana Marge, has been diagnosed with PPC.

PPC is cancer of the cells lining the peritoneum, or abdominal cavity. Unfortunately, because this is such a rare cancer (we've heard one's chances of getting PPC is 2%), not much research has been done. I hope we can change this.

The purpose of this blog is so that family and friends can keep updated with my mom. Also, through this communication tool, we can all work together to raise awareness about this disease. More to come...check back soon!
