Yesterday, she had the port put in. They originally said it would be in her arm, but it is actually in her neck. First chemo treatment is Tuesday March 3rd.
I cannot believe in a couple of days it will have been a month since this all began. And you're still not alone, mom. We love you and are always here for you.

You are stronger than you even know...and you are about to learn that. I never knew going through this myself that something so painful could bring on so much strength. You are a superwoman and you will beat this. The path ahead is a bumpy one, but I know you'll stay on track!! Stay positive.
